Anyone who lives anywhere near Bowling Green, KY has heard the myth that we have more restaurants per capita than any other city in the USA. I'm pretty sure that isn't true, but there
is a bunch of restaurants around here and it seems like a new one opens every other day. With so much competition, I tend to assume that the ones who survive the first few months are pretty good. There's a little bit of everything here, unless you're looking for Korean. Hopefully somebody will fix that problem soon.
These restaurants don't qualify for a Countryside Food Ride because there's no countryside involved and there's nothing fun about riding through traffic to eat somewhere in town. But I thought it might be neat to start posting pictures of my favorite local eateries, especially since I'll need something to keep me busy over winter.
So, this page focuses on local establishments that are worth visiting. The pictures are from the GoPro, unless otherwise noted. The photos won't be great, but I hope to convey the general atmosphere of each place. No reviews, just pictures. I should mention that I tend to visit during off hours, so if the places look empty that's just because I think it would be creepy to feature a bunch of strangers in the photos.

| It's a small place with a small menu a few blocks from the Franklin Town Square. It's not in Bowling Green, but the food is good enough that I had to include it. Combined with Wildfire BBQ & Grill, I say Franklin is a fine BBQ town! |
